HOW TO SUPPORT IFAS.ORG

A patron is someone who financially supports the arts in a broad sense or artists in the narrow sense. The phrase "patron of the arts" is as valid and necessary today more than ever. As the cost of living rises, the arts are the weakest link on the economic chain. Today more than ever, the arts need patrons.

Historically, people who have reached a level of financial success and stability funded all types of visual artists to produce to worlds great works.

Patronage extended beyond individuals. Groups of artists, or guilds or societies, were commissioned as a group as well to take on projects. Most artists were society members. Being a part of a society not only meant that an artist had a support system to work within.

Today is no different. The Arts and artists, and the IFAS, need our support more than ever. Start with becoming a Patron of IFAS through our partner Patreon.com
